6 days a week working out VS 3 days a week?

My friend says I will loose weight more and faster if i exercise once a day 3 times per week rather than what i am doing now (6 days a week, twice morning and night on mon, wed, and fri)?

Is this true?

Answer:
Exercising more = burning more calories = losing more weight. Don't listen to your friend. Besides, exercise is recommended for at least 30 minutes a day.
You are doing the right thing. Working out twice on certain days will keep your metabolism going all day long, that is a smart idea.
There is a risk of overtraining, but that isn't something to worry about unless you are training in excess, over 8 hours a day or something crazy like that.
Good luck with your weight loss!
